Our cabins are a favorite among retirees and vacation-minded people who want a second home without the hassles of maintenance. The Cabins at Stockton Lake are a place where modesty and charm outweigh size and grandeur and where simplicity and flexibility outshine the sophisticated and complicated.
If you purchase a cabin as a second home and place it in our rent-back program, we'll advertise, book and manage your cabin and give you 60% of the rental fee. We keep 40% for doing the cleaning, managing, bookkeeping, minor upkeep and repairs of your cabin.
Our cabins are all electric (central electric/heat pump). All cabins are well insulated with R30 ceiling insulation, R15 wall insulation and are wrapped in OSB, Tyvek and plastic. Property taxes run around $700 a year for a cabin. Monthly homes association fees are just $50 a month and cover all exterior work including mowing, edging, fertilizing, pest control, and changing your furnace filters.
