Welcome to The Cabins We look forward to making your cabin stay so memorable you’ll return again and again. Our office and Lodge is located at 706 E. Oak. Lodge amenities that are here for you to enjoy include a 4-person hot tub, 50 inch  TV with surround sound and a and putting green, and outdoor fireplace.

INSIDE OUR CABINS

We supply the towels, linens, soap, laundry soap, coffee, trash bags, and charcoal BBQ grills (located on the rear porch of each cabin). Each cabin also has cable television and, electric or gas fireplaces. Our kitchens have electric stoves, full refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers and toasters as well as pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We also provide FREE WIFI in our cabins. NOTE: We do not provide daily maid service. If you are staying with us more than a week and would like your cabin cleaned, please let us know and we’ll be happy to accommodate.

CHECK IN & KEYS

Check In is at 4 PM. Check out is at Noon. The day of your check in, go straight to your cabin and the door will be open and your keys inside. Early check in or late check out may be available upon request depending on our bookings.. The front door of the lodge faces east and is beneath a huge set of Elk antlers. If you need us between the hours of 8 AM to 6 PM, you can call us at 417-808-0730.

TRASH

We have two trash dumpsters at the cabins. One is located next to Cabin #803 and the other near the Lodge in the circle drive. Please feel free to bag and toss your trash as it accumulates. No fish remains in the dumpsters please. There’s a cleaning station at all marinas.

CHECK OUT & PAYMENT

Prior to your Noon check out, please toss your sheets and pillowcases in the washer with laundry soap and let the cycle run. We’ll take it from there. Please leave your keys in the cabin with the door unlocked when your stay is over. Unless you tell us you’d like another form of payment other than the credit card you gave us when you booked the room, you’re free to go and we’ll run your card upon check out. Or you can split your bill with your friends or pay by cash or check if you tell us in advance.

LOCATION

Our cabins are located ¾ miles behind the Casey’s Convenience store on 39 highway (directly south of the town square). More specific directions are posted on our website under the How to Get Here button. We have lake maps and community guides for you in our lodge along with board games, books and movies, and Play Station games you can check out.

SMOKING & PETS

Smoking is not allowed in any of our cabins and a $150 surcharge will be added to your bill if you smoke inside the cabins. Smoking is allowed on the front and rear decks of your cabin. Pets are allowed with prior notice at a $25 one-time fee.

MAXIMUM GUESTS

Please do not exceed the maximum number of persons allowed in each cabins. We will do walk throughs and charge an add’l $10 per person to prevent unnecessary wear of these cabins, many of which we manage with pride for owners who soon will retire in them.

CANCELLATIONS

We do not require deposits in advance of your stay and you can cancel without penalty up to one week of your stay. If you cancel less than one week of your stay, you will be charged 30% of your original reservation.

 If you have the flexibility to come stay two days or more any day Sunday through Thursday, we'll give you 20 bucks off nightly as a reward. Our weekends are filling up fast, so book a weekday and save. Applies May 1 through October 1.

We require a credit card to reserve a cabin, but accept cash and personal check for payment. Stop in the office or call Jay at 417-808-0730 to make arrangements. 

Introducing our newest cabin The Lifesaver!

The Lifesaver has a large private bedroom downstairs with TV/DVD player along with a full size bath. The open and spaceous kitchen and dining area has access to the huge back deck. (The back deck has cedar railing and a state of the art weather forcasting tool! New pictures coming spring 2013.) The living area has a hide a bed couch and flat screen TV/DVD player with an electric fireplace. Upstairs the loft has a twin size bunk bed and a full size bed with TV/DVD player. The loft has another full size bath and access to the deck above the car port. Also upstairs is another large private bedroom with TV/DVD player and access to a third cozy deck. The 4 TV's are powered by Dish Network. 3 decks, 4 TV's, large front porch, lots of open space, The Lifesaver will give you just what its name implies!
